    Now My Workouts Are Enjoyable
    In 2010 I was very unhealthy and a little overweight for my 5'2 frame. I was pre-diabetic, had constant leg swelling and heart palpitations due to high blood pressure. A few days after a visit to my doctor, I received a call from her. She was very concerned as she told me that I was very close to becoming a diabetic, and if I continued on my same path I would eventually have to go on medication for diabetes. That scared me enough to want to change my life. I was motivated and determined to get healthy.

    The following day I decided to join the West Sacramento Recreation Center. I started out slow, walking a fast pace 7-days a week for 30 minutes on the treadmill, then weight loss santa rosaincreasing speed and length, eventually running on the treadmill an hour to an hour and half a day. I began to eat a healthier diet and monitored my sugar intake by reading nutritional labels. As my stamina progressed on the treadmill and I started to lose weight, I needed to add more to my workout for increased results.

    I started taking Staci's cardio lift classes, along with other classes at the WSRC and joined one of their fitness challenges. To my surprise, I won the fitness challenge competition at the end. Having Staci's support and guidance, taking her classes and the other classes at WSRC made me more determined and motivated to help me to achieve my goal. Staci is a wonderful trainer and going to her classes have made my workouts more enjoyable. I've lost 22 lbs and have gone from 32% body fat to 16% body fat. I can honestly say at 49 years old, I am the healthiest and most physically fit I have ever been in my life. - Lourdes Conrad

    A Life Changing Experience
    I was a member of Curves for some time and was doing well but something was missing. Looking back on that now, I believe it was lack of motivation. One day I saw Staci teaching a Zumba class in the Curves facility - she was so upbeat and positive. I eventually grew into one of her "followers".

    I started attending her Zumba classes at the rec center. I was disappointed that Curves only offers that one class, so I turned in my membership at Curves and joined the rec center. I owe my fitness to Staci and her focus on the different exercises (classes) that I could attend and better myself. After joining the center I signed up for the 2nd Fitness Challenge. With Staci's help and motivation, I came in 2nd place and was awarded a 3-month pass to the rec center.

    I am now into my 2nd week of Fitness Challenge #3 with Staci and doing well. I have since hired her as my personal trainer. I cannot thank her enough for all her help. She knows that I can do anything if I only try. I now have the same confidence in myself.  I can do so many different things I thought only younger people could do.     The Best I Can Be
    In 2008, I was 168 lbs in my swimsuit in Hawaii. I was so upset with myself. I felt unhealthy. I joined the West Sac Recreation Center in 2009. I started out just taking a few classes a week.

    My favorite class was Staci's cardio lift class, because I felt like I was getting a total body workout. I am busy and couldn't commit to multiple classes every day. I also started a low carb lifestyle of eating and continued going every week to these classes. Staci always made me feel that no matter what age I was, or what weight I am, there is a fitness program perfect for me. I have lost 25 pounds and maintained the weight loss.

    I started personal training with Staci in 2012, as now I have new goals since my weight is consitent. I wanted to build muscle and lose body fat. She taught me all the proper exercises to lose the body fat, tone muscles, in just 30 minute sessions. I am now 143 pounds and 24% body fat.
